Museum of London

We have supplied number of floor standing and below ground wet well foul and wastewater pumping systems at The Museum of London, which is a museum in London, covering the history of the city from prehistoric to modern times, with a particular focus on social history. The new renovated museum coming will be situated at the heart of the capital’s historic West Smithfield. From 1976 to 2022, its main site was in the City of London on London Wall, close to the Barbican Centre, as part of the Barbican complex of buildings created in the 1960s and ’70s to redevelop a bomb-damaged area of the city.

We have supplied a below ground wet well pump system for the Hotel Chocolat car park area. They are a British chocolate manufacturer and cocoa grower. They produce products for online and through a network of stores, cafes, outlets and factory stores. The company produces a variety of chocolate based confectionary, including regular chocolate bars, blocks and seasonal gift products. Hotel Chocolat agreed to be acquired by American confectionery company Mars Inc.

We have supplied a below ground GRP wet well pumping station for the New Romney steam railway station. This is one of Kent’s top tourist attractions with visitors from around the world. Hythe to New Romney opened in 1946 and the Dungeness section was the following year later with Laurel and Hardy cutting the ribbon. Much investment has taken place over the years to ensure the railway maintains its title as Kent’s Mainline in Miniature.

By 2025, the historic poultry market site will reopen as the home of the Museum of London, while its elaborate Victorian Central Market will relaunch as a combined food hall and conference centre. Meat had been traded at Smithfield Market for more than 800 years.

Savoy Hotel, London

We have supplied a number of floor standing wastewater pump systems at this prestigious 5 star hotel. The Savoy was the first purpose built deluxe hotel in Britain, when it opened in August 1889. Built by Richard D’Oyly Carte from the profits from his Gilbert and Sullivan opera productions, they established an unprecedented standard of quality in hotel service, food, entertainment attracting royalty and other rich and powerful guests and diners from Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland to Sir Winston Churchill. We have supplied several below ground bespoke GRP pumping chambers as part of the excavation works on the new residential apartments, office, leisure, and retail sector. Positioned next to the famous Kia Oval Cricket Ground. It was in the Oval area that Guy Fawkes and his fellow Gunpowder plot conspirators stored their 20 barrels of gunpowder in the early 17th century. Vincent Van Gogh also lived in the Oval from 1873 to 1874. The unit is part of master-planned community known as Oval Village and centred around the historic Oval Gasholders.

HMS Belfast

We have supplied and installed our packaged sewage disposal unit located on board this cruiser. HMS Belfast was built for the Royal Navy but is now permanently moored as a museum ship on the River Thames in London. It served in the Second World War, Arctic Convoys and Battle of North Cape, Battle of Normandy, Service in the Far East and Korean War before becoming decommissioned and preserved for the Imperial War Museum since 1978.

This building forms part of the Shard Quarter development and is the home of The Times, The Sunday Times, The Sun, TalkSPORT Radio, Times Radio, Virgin Radio and hosts the Piers Morgan TalkTV show. The building was opened by the former Mayor of London and Prime Minister, Boris Johnson in 2014.

They are an international health insurance and healthcare giant with over 31 million customers worldwide. There purpose is helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives. Nike has more than 50 retail stores across the UK and Ireland. Battersea Power Station

We supplied our floor standing Compli packaged sewage disposal units to the renovated exisiting Grade II listed coal-fired power station located by the River Thames in Battersea, London. At it’s peak the Battersea Power Station was supplying a fifth of London’s electricity. The power station is one of the world’s largest brick buildings. The site includes 253 residential units, bars, restaurants, office space including Apple’s UK corporate workspace, shops and entertainment spaces.

The Leadenhall Building

We have supplied numerous floor standing wastewater pumping systems in various floors for the commercial office space in this 225-meter bold skyscraper building located in the heart of the London financial insurance district. Informally known as ‘The Cheese Grater’ because of its distinctive wedge shape design. The building had to preserve views of the iconic St. Paul’s Cathedral from Fleet Street, therefore appears to be inclined away from the Cathedral. International insurance company Aon shifted its global headquarters from Chicago to The Leadenhall Building.

Booking.com HQ, Manchester

This building will offer it’s global transport hub. Manchester Goods Yard is a new media, tech, creative area featuring three 10-storey workspace buildings. Booking.com is a dutch online travel agency for hotel and apartment reservations and other travel products such as cars, flights, trains and airport taxis. Originally launched in 1996 the website has over 28 million listings.

The Old War Office Building

We have supplied and commissioned various floor standing Compli sewage disposal units located in this prestigious building located in Whitehall, Westminster as part of the restoration of the Grade II listed historic building to now include a word class Raffles hotel and luxury residences. The Old War Office Building was previously the Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill’s headquarters during World War II and in 1964 it was transferred to the new Ministry of Defence (MoD). The iconic James Bond author Ian Fleming who worked there as a British Naval Intelligence Office, came up with the idea for Bond during his time at the office.

We have supplied a large number of submersible wet well pumping stations for the £8 billion redevelopment project at the BBC’s Television Centre, London. The Television Centre in White City, West London was the headquarters for BBC Television from 1960 until 2013. Some of the best-known programmes on British television were recorded or transmitted from within its walls such as Dad’s Army, Match of the Day, Fawlty Towers and many more.

Centre Court, Wimbledon

We were involved in the supply and design of the submersible pumping systems for the new roof at Wimbledon’s famous centre court. We installed the storm water pump stations for the northern section of Centre Court including the run off from the retractable roof and for the main East Wing and Basement slab. Wimbledon is home to the annual grand slam tennis championship and was the venue for the London 2012 Olympic Games tennis tournament.

Keble College, Oxford

We have supplied a number of below ground GRP wet well pumping stations to Keble College in Oxford. Keble College was established in 1870, having been built as a monument to John Keble. Keble is one of the larger colleges of the University of Oxford, with over 700 undergraduates and graduate students.

We supplied a new below ground GRP wet well pumping station to deliver the foul water at the Renault Sport Formula One factory in Oxford. Renault have been involved in Formula One since the 70s and have won 2 constructors championships.

Bluewater Shopping Centre

We have supplied numerous submersible pumping systems to a number of different food and retail outlets at Bluewater Shopping Centre. Originally opened in 1999 in an old chalk quarry, it is the 6th largest shopping centre in Europe and welcomes over 27 million visitors a year.

St. Mary Axe (The Gherkin)

We have supplied numerous submersible waste water pumping sets to 30 St. Mary Axe, London (The Gherkin). With 41 floors and totalling 500,000 sq ft, The Gherkin is an iconic highlight of the London skyline and one of the capitals most recognisable examples of contemporary architecture.

Hampton Court Palace Magic Garden

We supplied a number of floor mounted sewage lifting stations for the new magic garden at the historic Hampton Court Palace. The palace has stood for hundreds of years and is one of only two surving palaces out of the many owned by King Henry VIII. The magic garden is a new adventure playground for children set within the grounds.

20 Fenchurch Street

We supplied a number of floor mounted submersible pumping systems for various floors at 20 Fenchurch Street in the historic City of London financial district. Some people may know this building better by its nick name ‘The Walkie-Talkie’, so called because of its distinctive top heavy design.

We have supplied numerous submersible waste water pumping sets to The Scalpel, 52 Lime Street London. Earning its name from its distinctive angular shape, the newly completed building stands at 620 ft tall with 38 storeys and is the newest feature to adorn the London skyline.

London 2012 – ArcelorMittal Orbit

We supplied a number of submersible pumping systems in the bottom of the ArcelorMittal Orbit in time for the London 2012 Olympic Games. At 376 feet, the ArcelorMittal Orbit is the tallest sculpture in the UK, it stands some 71 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty in New York.

Heron Tower

The 755ft Heron Tower (officially 110 Bishopsgate) is the tallest building in the City of London financial district and the third tallest building in Greater London. We supplied numerous floor mounted submersible pumping systems on a number of floors serving tea points, WCs and showers.

London 2012 – Aquatics Centre
